On Division

I have received a number of messages from friends in recent times about my posts being divisive, or that they are not likely to reach their target.

I want you all to know that I do not post to rile up, I post to point out falsehoods, and espouse truth, logic, and pragmatism in an era that is ruled by chaos.

If you do not like my posts, and if my posts bring you negativity, then I encourage you to mute my posts, or unfollow me if you feel so inclined. On Facebook, if you click the little action icon (probably at the top right), there’s probably like “see less of this” and that will mute me. I still love you, regardless of your political positions. Someone recently suggested the idea of a burger and a beer, well I’m always up for that with any of the good people in my life and there are many of those of various political persuasions, I am a man blessed with many friends. I’ll have an impossible burger and a Stella because I’m exactly the liberal bitch you might expect. And I like it that way! I am loudly me, and I understand if I’m not for you.

I am also loudly for you. I want you to live your best possible life. I just absolutely want that for every human on earth without exception. I am not against the death penalty in some cases (though that’s an essay unto itself) but other than that, I wish nothing but love, success, and growth for every human on earth.

If you feel good about this and want to leave it at that, I’m about to say something that you might find divisive. So, in the words of one of my favorite authors as we approach the end of the Dark Tower, Stephen King warns, "Should you go on, you will surely be disappointed, perhaps even heartbroken”.

You and I agree that the media and elites are divisive. We agree that the ultra rich seek to control us and turn us against each other to their own gain. Look at these last 5 years. It’s been an unprecedented wealth transfer from us to them. They’re winning.

I also want to point out the undeniable fact that most of the billionaire elite in the world are of the right wing. Elon, Peter Thiel, Bezos, Larry Ellison, Charles Koch, Trump, Rupert Murdoch, Putin, MBS, Xi Jinping. And all of these men have ownership in news organizations, a vast majority of them in the world. What you still refer to as the liberal media, is almost entirely all conservative billionaire owned. And more are being bought by the day including CBS and parts of ABC. CNN, Fox News, and all the other many right wing news organizations, the Washington Post, even the New York Times, slants to the right.

That’s not to say that left wing operated media is better, it’s not. You’ll notice a theme with me, I agree with many of you that both sides suck. The left is a pain in my ass. They have no good leadership, everyone is 90, and it’s an absolute problem.

The other problem is first past the post voting that forces us to have only two real parties. That was probably all that was workable before the internet. Today, we ought to amend the constitution to have more of a parliamentary representation in congress and re-balance checks and balances. SCOTUS should not be intensely partisan either way, they should be of the law. The Executive should be the executive, the face of the people, an astounding presence and orator, and a show of American power and excellence. Congress and the Senate should expand to grant more directed popular representation per congress person. These are all ideas that the elite would hate. The tech elite literally want to separate us into techno city states - fiefdoms of work slavery like you might see on Alien Earth. We should protect and fight for what we have. I will always continue to do that.

The right wing has built an absolutely incredible and unprecedented propaganda machine. Starting with Rupert Murdoch and Bill O’Reilly, to Cambridge Analytica, to Russian bot farming, to the Rogansphere, to Peter Thiel placing JD Vance in the White House. This is a total billionaire takeover masquerading as an everyman champion of the rural. Trump et all do not care about you. Tara has been to Mar-a-lago. This is a different place where we are not welcome.

You are pounded from absolutely all sides, we all are, by political propaganda that would make Goebbels weep. From astro-turfed fake info graphs to bad faith politicians to influencers grifting off the rage of the proletariat. The right is living post truth, all the information presented to them by and large is made up or presented out of context. And you might say the same about information from the left, but the money is in the right’s propaganda machine. The left just doesn’t have the chutzpah or funding. Look it up I implore you.

They are all selling one thing: fear of the other. I have been in a MAGA family member’s house installing a camera on their front porch because they were terrified. They locked the door to the garage while I was out installing it out of fear. Look folks, bad things happen, but there is less crime now than there ever has been in history. Crime rates have plummeted since the 90s outside a small uptick during covid. As a great man once said, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself.”

A caravan of immigrants are not coming to get you or take your jobs. Those are people born into brutally more difficult circumstances than we are. You’d do the same for your family as they attempt to do for theirs. Are some of them criminals? Absolutely! But there is no conspiracy to push murderers into America. These are poor people that want a better life for themselves. Are any among you criminals? I have committed crime.

I don’t even dislike Trump. He’s kind of hilariously goofy to me. Incredible producer of memes the likes of which have never been seen. I am a student of the internet, and I must appreciate that.

I do dislike the real brains behind the operation. Stephen Miller is who the elites have put in charge to divide and conquer us. He is a born in the flesh white supremacist and the architect and implementer of Project 2025 (which is real and about 60% complete, look it up!).

All of those in charge, to a person, left wing included, are grifters in one way or another. All congress people partake in insider trading they’ve deemed legal to them, while we wither away living paycheck to paycheck.

I truly mean it when I say I love all of you. No matter if we’ve butted heads in the past, and I hope you know that’s true. I will continue to fight for you because I love America. I’m not a self hating liberal. I love America. Ask Tara, I live for a flyover and the National Anthem at the 500. I literally go watch the flyover whether I’m at the race or not and it’s for the goosebumps I get about the country we live in and what it stands for. Those Christian values of loving thy neighbor. That is important to me, desperately important.

Anyway, I’m probably gonna run for Senate in 2030 cause I mean why not?
